At Chez Plume, we take pride in sourcing fresh local produce and seafood, creating a niche that has captivated both local and international patrons for over 25 years.
Named after our late founder, Jean Claude Plumas, Chez Plume has become a Seychelles institution, celebrated for its classic traditional menu. Our culinary journey is a blend of French Creole flavors, featuring timeless dishes that have been our specialties since inception. From boudin (a typical Creole sausage) to grilled local lobster, our menu caters to diverse tastes. Starters range from local salads like chouchoute to the rich complexity of stuffed mussels. Delicacies such as shark, red snapper, job, and capitaine blanc (white captain) delight seafood enthusiasts. Our iconic desserts, including Passionfruit and Coconut Soufflé, are cherished by travelers who seek a taste of paradise. Families are welcomed with a unique children's menu, complete with kids' favorites, smoothies, and milkshakes.
In 2016, we introduced a modern and eclectic menu to complement our traditional offerings. Created by Chef Terence Bristol, known for his expertise in top Seychellois hotels and restaurants, our modern menu adds international flair to the Chez Plume experience. Enjoy a variety of salads, including the classic Caesar and Greek, along with delectable pasta dishes paired with savory sauces. From locally caught grilled whole fish to the indulgent Royale Burger and honey-basted Pork Belly, our modern menu offers a diverse range of flavors. Satisfy your sweet tooth with our signature crepe and fruit platter featuring fresh local fruits from our garden. Additionally, we proudly present a tempting array of freshly made pizzas, including a signature slipper lobster and garlic pizza, and all your favorite classics, available for dine-in or takeaway.
At Chez Plume, we cater to groups, crafting customized menus to suit varied budgets and tastes. Our offerings encompass French Creole fare, international dishes, and everything in between. Choose from an extensive array of flavors, from boudin, breadfruit, and grilled red snapper to spicy octopus, crab curry, shark chutney, and chili mango salad. Groups of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to larger parties of up to 90, are comfortably accommodated in our restaurant or garden. Larger groups can even bring their own beverages for a corkage fee. For special occasions, we offer sumptuous buffet spreads featuring Creole and international cuisines, complete with themes and entertainment. Our in-house band, Michael Belle & Friends, sets the stage for relaxed tunes, or opt for individual musicians to create a more intimate ambiance.
