Our History

Driven by Mrs. Pomeroy's resourcefulness, the original ex-generator store was transformed into a quaint bakery equipped with two small gas ovens. Initially producing white loaves and rolls, the bakery's popularity soared, earning its rightful place as a prominent supplier to hotels and shops across Praslin and La Digue.

In 1998, a purpose-built bakery with modern equipment elevated the artistry, allowing the bakers to craft an array of delectable treats, from assorted breads to celebration cakes and pastries.

The bakery's journey of excellence has now culminated in its new home at The Old School Building in Baie Ste Anne, where three decades of dedication and the unwavering support of valued customers have paved the way for an exciting chapter of flavorful innovation and continued culinary delight.
