Established in 1997 as a joint venture between Seychelles and international partners, Silhouette Cruises introduced a new tourism concept that marries the allure of sailing with the charm of Seychelles' idyllic islands. This vision led to the launch of our first ship, SV Sea Shell, followed by the arrival of SV Sea Pearl in 1999. Recognizing the demand for a more comfortable experience, SY Sea Star set sail in 2004, followed by SY Sea Bird in 2007.
