Founded in 1979, Alliance francaise des Seychelles is located in Victoria and has a primary mission of promoting and disseminating the French language. With a diverse range of activities and events, the Alliance française offers a platform for artistic and educational exhibitions, concerts, lectures, and workshops that cater to a wide audience. Throughout the year, the calendar is filled with cultural activities, competitions, and festivals, including Francophonie, music festivals, and "Tell me ten words."
Library and Cultural Resources
At the heart of the Alliance française, the library stands as a treasure trove of French culture. With an extensive collection of over 15,000 books, including 450 comics, a wide selection of youth literature albums, movies, and video games, the library provides a captivating and immersive experience. French Language Classes
Alliance francaise des Seychelles offers three sessions of classes per year, catering to individuals of all ages and language proficiency levels. French classes are available for children starting from the age of 5, teenagers, and adults preparing for DELF or DALF examinations, as well as those seeking French diplomas.
