<h2>Tour Overview (Start 7am – 3pm)</h2>Head out offshore at a range of 12 to 18 miles from Praslin Island, to selected fishing grounds targeting a mixture of some of the fiercest top water predators and some of the bottom dwellers. There is nothing more exciting than to catch a Seychelles red emperor or have a 20 kg wahoo or tuna peeling line off a screaming reel.We will mix fishing techniques trolling 5 lines using Shimano reels and rods and dropping rigs to the bottom on average 50 m deep for bottom fishing and light jigging with lighter rods and spinning reels.We use artificial lures, divers and fresh bait for trolling, and we use fresh bait chunks on hook rigs with weight for bottom fishing. We will be using slow pitched jigs for light jigging techniques as well.Average time to reach fishing ground is around 30 mins with spectacular sightseeing of Praslin coastlines and neighboring islands. Weather conditions can change very quickly in the tropics so be prepared for hot temperatures and unexpected rain often times in a day’s trip. It is advisable to be well prepared with UV shirts, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen.The Indian ocean is a rich warm current ocean with occasional sighting of spectacular animals such as dolphins, turtles, whale sharks, flying fish and a variety of seabirds hunting alongside us.

The main Fishing technique is trolling, whereby the boat speeds at 7 knots, armed with 5 Shimano reels and rods and lines out around 50m behind the boat.We troll mostly artificial surface lures, divers and a combination of fresh bait, targeting some of the fiercest Saltwater top water predators. There is unmatched adrenaline rush of a reel screaming with a 20kg wahoo or tuna running and peeling line out.Our crew assists in the hooking and handling of catch either released or kept.Average time to reach fishing location is around 30 mins cruising speed 18 knots with spectacular sightseeing of Praslin coastlines and neighboring islands.It is advisable to be well prepared with UV shirts, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen.The Indian ocean is a rich warm current ocean with occasional sighting of spectacular animals such as dolphins, turtles, whale sharks, flying fish and a variety of seabirds hunting alongside us.

Es ist ein unvergleichlicher Adrenalinstoß, wenn eine Rolle mit einem 20 kg schweren Wahoo oder Thunfisch kreischt und die Leine auszieht. Unsere Mannschaft hilft beim Anhaken und Handhaben des Fangs, egal ob er freigelassen oder behalten wurde. Die durchschnittliche Zeit bis zum Erreichen des Angelplatzes beträgt etwa 30 Minuten bei einer Reisegeschwindigkeit von 18 Knoten mit spektakulärer Aussicht auf die Küste von Praslin und die Nachbarinseln. Es empfiehlt sich, mit UV-Shirt, Hut, Sonnenbrille und Sonnencreme gut vorbereitet zu sein. Der Indische Ozean ist ein üppiger, warmer Strömungsozean, in dem gelegentlich spektakuläre Tiere wie Delfine, Schildkröten, Walhaie, fliegende Fische und verschiedene Seevögel gesichtet werden, die neben uns jagen.
